PHYSICAL ANALYZER

Cellebrite Physical Analyzer (PA) is an advanced software for deep analysis, decoding and presentation of data already extracted from mobile devices and digital media. Key importance and use in service centers: 1. Analysis of extracted data (primary task): • Accepts data as input: Does not work directly with the device, but with a memory image (dump) created by other tools. Most often, this is data extracted using Cellebrite UFED (or other hardware). • Decoding "raw" data: Transforms unreadable system files, binary data and encrypted databases into understandable information (contacts, SMS/MMS, call history, photos, videos, documents, metadata, application logs). 2. Working with complex cases (critical for services): • Decryption: Attempts to decrypt encrypted partitions or application data (if keys are available or conditions allow). • Analysis of damaged data: Helps interpret and restore the data structure even from partially damaged memory images obtained from faulty devices. • Parsing applications: Deeply analyzes data from popular instant messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, etc.), social networks, email clients, extracting messages, media files, metadata. 3. Search and recovery of information: • Search by keywords: Powerful search across the entire array of decoded data. • Recover deleted: Analyzes file systems and unallocated space to find traces of deleted files (chances depend on the state of memory and the time elapsed since deletion). • Activity timeline: Builds a chronology of events on the device. 4. Professional report generation (demonstration to the client): • Report generation: Creates structured, visual reports (HTML, PDF, XML) with extracted data (contacts, messages, photos, etc.), graphs, timelines, geolocation maps. • Proof of work: Records digital fingerprints (hashes) of the analyzed data and results, keeps a log of actions - provides transparency and confirmation of the analysis performed for the client. Cellebrite Physical Analyzer is not a tool for extracting data from a device, but a powerful tool for analyzing and presenting it after extraction. • To extract data (especially from damaged/blocked devices), the service center will definitely need other tools: Cellebrite UFED Touch/4PC, hardware chip readers (for Chip-off), JTAG/ISP adapters, specialized cables and software for specific models. • PA comes into operation AFTER the memory image is extracted. Its strength is in its ability to "revive" and make sense of this "raw" data, especially in complex cases: - Decoding system files and databases. - Analysis and parsing of application data. - Decryption attempts. - Search for deleted data. - Creating a clear and convincing report for the client, demonstrating the results of recovery and analysis. For the service center, Physical Analyzer is an indispensable "brain center" at the stage of analyzing data extracted from damaged or complex devices by other means. It turns a technically complex memory image into understandable information and a professional report that can be shown to the client.
